Private Henry Ethelbert Bingham WX14721 (1922-1945, born Narrogin, Western Australia) enlisted in the Australian Military Forces at Claremont, Western Australia, on 2 July 1941 and was trained at Northam, Western Australia. He was sent to the Middle East in 1941 and taken on 2/11th Australian Infantry Battalion strength on 28 January 1942. The Battalion was returned to Australia in March 1942 and sent to Papua New Guinea in November 1944. On 1 July 1945, he was killed in action at Boram, East Sepik Province, battling Japanese Forces during the Aitape - Wewak Campaign (1 November 1944 – 31 August 1945).

Private Bingham’s official memorial is his grave in the Lae War Cemetery, Lae, Papua New Guinea, where his headstone is inscribed with “For ever with the Lord”. His Roll of Honour is Williams, Western Australia.

His honour plaque in Kings Park was dedicated by his family on 5 December 1948. He is the son of John Ethelbert Bingham (1886-1962) and Charlotte Bingham (nee Reed) (1894-1980) of Williams. The Plaque Applicant is his sister Patricia Joan Cluning (nee Bingham) (1919-1992).
