Biography abstract:
Mr Ernest Cuthbertson (1886-1934) came from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England to be a jackeroo.
His career followed a course from jackaroo to farmer to city businessman with a flair for acting, singing and musical comedy production.
With his two sons, Henry and Allan, Mr Cuthbertson was an early pioneer broadcaster with the ABC in Perth.
Mr Cuthbertson was a member of the Western Australian Centenary Committee in 1929.
